What does your mosaic artwork consist of?

Our mosaic's consist of thousands of naturally stained and sealed solid wood pieces. Our mosaic's wood pieces consist of several distinct shades, hand-placed in variable lengths to form a three-dimensional (3D) effect. The artwork is bordered with a matching wooden outer edge to ensure a seamless and uniform look from all viewing angles.

How long will it take to create a custom mosaic?

The time required to create a custom mosaic will depend on the size of the mosaic. At MarosMosaic we typically turnaround a standard 36"x24" mosaic in approximately 2 weeks.

Where do you currently ship?

We currently ship to Canada and the United States.

What are the requirements for a custom mosaic?

To create a custom mosaic, our team will require a high-resolution digital image file from which to work from. We will optimally scale down the image into a resolution that fits the exact end size of your order. Are there any special handling requirements?

When it comes to the handling of your artwork, it is important to keep the following in mind:

  • The mosaic should be kept away from candles and any open flame.
  • The mosaic consists of many small pieces of solid wood and should not be handled by small children.
  • The mosaic should not be subject to direct sunlight.
  • The mosaic should be kept away from rooms with significantly higher levels of moisture.

Is there anything else that I should be aware of?

Our mosaic's use non-toxic liquids in both the staining and sealing of the solid wood pieces.
